This specimen was lot 37642 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Lower Canada. Copper Penny Token, ND (1813). PCGS MS-62 Brown. Ex: John J. Ford, Jr Collection. August ANA (08/2013) Lot # 21136. Ex: A.H. Baldwin & Sons in June 1965." This token was issued decades before regular coinage was issued for Canada.
