"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Ferdinand I. 1835-1848. 1/2 Scudo 1841, V, Venedig. Von großer Seltenheit. Prachtexemplar von polierten Stempeln. Feine Patina, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Austria, Ferdinand I, 1835-48, half scudo of 1841, Venice mint. Extremely rare, cabinet example from polished dies, fine patina, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"

The kingdom of Lombardy-Venetia was erected by Metternich at the Congress of Vienna out of the wreckage of Venice, Milan and Mantua and ruled by Austria until the unification of Italy.
