This specimen was lot 1406 in Jean Elsen sale 121 (Brussels, June 2014), where it sold for €210 (about US$336 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIE, LIVOURNE, Ferdinand II de Médicis (1621-1670), AR tollero, 1659, Droit: Tête radiée à droite. Revers: Vue du port et du phare de Livourne. Rare. Trace de monture. Beau à Très Beau. (Italy, city of Livorno, Ferdinand II (1621-70), silver tollero of 1659. Obverse: crowned head to right; reverse: view of the port and lighthouse of Livorno. Rare, trace of mounting, fine to very fine.)"
This rare type is listed for 1659, 1666 and 1669. Later types, especially Dav-4215, are more available.
