This specimen was lot 24477 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (Newport Beach, CA, January 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. Lithuania. 1/2 Groschen, ND (1501-06). Alexander Jagiellon. PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield. Obverse: mounted knight (Lithuania), reverse: eagle (Poland). A blast white coin, somewhat softly struck." In the sixteenth century, Lithuania comprised the northeast half of the kingdom of Poland whose monarch ruled the two regions separately.
