This specimen was lot 3244 in Stacks-Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $317.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "BELGIUM. Liege. Sede Vacante. 6 Sols (Escalin), 1792. NGC MS-62. Lightly toned and very attractive." If the reported mintage is to be believed, this coin is quite rare. In 1792, the Austrian Netherlands, including Liege, were overrun by French armies and were annexed to France until 1814. The area is now part of Belgium.
Recorded mintage: 500.
Specification: silver.
