This specimen was part of lot 3645 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "LAOS: People's Democratic Republic, AR SET of 4 coins, 1985, 10th Anniversary of People's Democratic Republic, including KM-25-26-27-28, all 50 kip, mintage of only 2,000 sets, scarce, Choice Proof, ex Dr. Wolfgang Schuster Collection." These were struck at the Leningrad mint along with commemorative one, five, ten and twenty kip in copper-nickel (KM 37, 38, 39, 40, 41). Alas, neither the SCWC nor Numista identify the designs on the reverses.

Recorded mintage: 2,000.

Specification: 38.2 g, 0.900 fine silver, 37 mm diameter, reeded edge.
