This specimen was lot 23643 in Heritage sale 3030 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $2,702.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Landau. Prince Karl Alexander of Wurttemburg Siege 2 Florin - 8 Kreuzer 1713, MS61 NGC. A stunning example of this type, issued during the French siege of Landau." Landau later was annexed by France but is now part of Germany again. This issue was accompanied by a half florin two kreuzer (KM 11) and a one florin four kreuzer (KM 12), all scarce.
Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
