Stack's Bowers April 2021 Hong Kong sale, lot 53322

This specimen was lot 53322 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $1,020. The catalog description^[1] noted, "CHINA. Kwangtung. 10 Cash, CD (1909). NGC MS-63 Red Brown. A choice piece, this example presents a mix of red-brown hues and some underlying brilliance." This type was struck 1909 only for emperor Hsuan Tung.
