This specimen was lot 74487 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "KOREA. Chon, Year 11 (1907). Kojong (as Emperor). NGC AU-55. This supremely pleasing example displays a rich chocolate brown color and scarcely any evidence of wear." Altho this is a one year type, it is not rare. In 1910, Korea was annexed to Japan and her coinage ended until after World War Two.

Recorded mintage: 11,200,000.

Specification: 4.2 g, bronze, 23.5 mm diameter.
