This specimen was lot 2200 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $499.37. The catalog description[1] noted, "JUNAGADH: Mahabat Khan II, 1851-1882, AR nazarana kori, AH1297/VS1936. About Unc, S, ex Paul Stevens Collection." The SCWC incorrectly attributes this issue to Mahabat Khan III, who did not ascend the throne until 1911, well after this appearance of this one year type. The Steven Album description is correct. Junagadh is in western India near Nawanagar and Kutch.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 4.6 g, silver, this specimen 4.65 g.
Catalog reference: KM-31.
