This specimen was lot 2504 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "JODHPUR: AR rupee, Dar ul-Barkat Nagor, AH1189 year 15, in the name of Shah Alam II, lovely XF." Jodhpur was also known as Marwar. This type is listed for years 18, 19, 24, 26, 28, 33 as well as some with calendar dates only. It is noted with a low catalog value although this example is an unlisted date. The maharajas of Jodhpur were Hindus and after the collapse of the Mughals, ceased to use AH dates on their coins.
