This specimen was lot 740 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $42. The catalog description^[1] noted, "JAPAN: Taisho, 1912-1926, 10 sen, year 12 (1923), a superb example, PCGS graded MS65." This type, struck 1920-26, superseded the silver ten sen of 1913-17. Most dates are common.
