This specimen was lot 71536 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Jaipur. Rupee, Year 18 (1897). Madho Singh II (under Victoria as Empress). NGC MS-64. An exceedingly attractive example, this Jaipur type offers some soft luster to compliment the full strike." This type was struck years 1-42.
