This specimen was lot 2126 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $1,762.50. The catalog description^[1] noted, "JAIPUR: AR ½ rupee, Sawai Jaipur, year 16. In the name of Shah Alam II, jhar on reverse, VF to EF, RR, ex Paul Stevens Collection." The SCWC notes this type for year 16 only and does not award it a high catalog value. This specimen realized thirty times the catalog value.
