This specimen was lot 47135 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "ISRAEL. New Sheqel, JE 5769/2009. Utrecht Mint. NGC PROOF-68 Ultra Cameo." Numista comments, "The coin is graced with an artistic rendering of Samson wrestling with the fierce lion in the Philistine city of Timnat, in ancient Mesopotamian style typical of the Canaanite period. A stylized palm tree symbolizes the Land of Israel, where this scene took place."

Recorded mintage: 5,000 proofs.

Specification: 1.24 g, 0.999 fine gold, 13.92 mm diameter, 0.040 oz AGW.
