This specimen was part of lot 1251 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), which sold for $1,020. The catalog description[1] noted, "Israel. Gold 10 New Sheqalim, plus Silver 1 and 2 New Sheqalim, 2001. KM-346-344. Education. Pomegranate full of symbols. In presentation case. Choice Brilliant Proof." This NCLT was accompanied by a two new sheqalim (KM 345) and a silver new sheqel (KM 344).

Recorded mintage: 660 proofs, Utrecht mint.

Specification: 16.96 g, 0.917 fine gold, 30 mm diameter, 0.5000 ounce AGW.
