This specimen was lot 76238 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRELAND. Groat (4 Pence), 1556. London Mint; mm: Rose. Philip & Mary. PCGS VF-30. Base Coinage. Obverse: Crowned busts vis-a-vis; Reverse: Crowned harp flanked by crowned P and M. From the Richard August Collection." This type was struck 1555-58 with various mintmarks. The 1557 is the most common date.
