This specimen was lot 75155 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $840. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. Azadi, SH 1386 (2007). Tehran Mint. NGC MS-64. Highly reflective fields nobly frame the frosted design devices. This design type features the bust of the grand ayatollah, Ruhollah Khomeini. A flashy example of this issue."
