This specimen was lot 2924 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$1,206 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN Islamic Republic, since 1979. Azadi 1373 SH (1994), Tehran. Fast FDC, About Mint State."
This type, listed in the SCWC for SH 1370-1375, was minted to the standard of a British sovereign. Many more dates exist. Gold quarter, half, 2½ and five azadis also exist. The coins generally trade as bullion coins.
