This specimen was lot 33355 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2024), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. 50 Dinars, SH 1348 (1968). PCGS MS-65. A fresh, frosty exemplar of the date with enticing bands of tangerine tone." This type was struck SH 1332-1336 and 1342-1354. All dates are common and some are worthless. It is unusual to see this type in an auction. The shah was overthrown in 1979 and he died the next year.
