This specimen was lot 2 in Sincona sale 88 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 1,800 CHF (about US$2,379 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN, Safavid Dynasty, Esma'il I. 907-930 AH (1501-1524). Heavy Ashrafi 929 AH (1523), Yazd Mint. Early 72 grain Ashrafi. Äusserst selten Extremely rare. NGC MS64. Purchased from M. Abgarians, Glendale, California, in 1987."
