This specimen was lot 47727 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "IRAN. Qajar Dynasty. Kran, AH 1259 (1843/4). Tehran Mint. Muhammad Shah. PCGS VF-25. From the Genden Collection." This type E kran, unusual for its lion obverse, was struck AH 1258-1263 only at Tehran. The krans from the other mints have inscriptions on both sides.
