This specimen was lot 2087 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $108. The catalog description[1] noted, "QAJAR: Fath 'Ali Shah, 1797-1834, AR qiran, Qumm, AH1247, type E, normal size, VF-XF, R, ex Roland Dauwe Collection. Fath Ali Shah struck coins at Qumm only AH1241-1248, all with the epithet "Dar al-Iman"." Qumm (or Qom) is a scarce mint, one of at least 26 that struck this type. Dates AH 1241-1248 are recorded for this type.
