This specimen was lot 33701 in Heritage sale 3114 (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $6,300. The lot description[1] noted, "Hungary: Franz Joseph I gold 10 Korona 1914-KB MS60 ANACS. A surprisingly difficult emission from the penultimate year of this series, the first example we have offered to date. Well-struck and wearing the remnants of strong luster, only limited by some grade-defining chatter." This type, issued 1892-1915, superseded the four forint and was about 5% heavier. Many dates of the ten korona are common but this one is scarce.
