This specimen was lot 10495 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $441. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. Taler, 1691-KB. NGC AU-50. Leopold I (1654-1705). Toned." This one-year type varies from the issue of 1687-91 (Dav-3260) in the details of the emperor's cravat and the draping of the toga around his armor.
Recorded mintage: 779,000 (including Dav-3260).
