This specimen was lot 1118 in Stack's Bowers ANA auction (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $8,812.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. 10 Ducat, ND (1645-90). Kremnitz Mint. PCGS Genuine--Edge Damage, AU Details Secure Holder. RARE. Mintmaster Christian Herman Roth. From the Joseph Vas Collection." The Kremnitz ducats of Christian Hermann Roth and his heirs were struck during the last half of the seventeenth century and the first half of the eighteenth century in sizes ranging from half a ducat up to 100 ducats. The SCWC does not list them, dismissing them as medals, but they are mentioned in Friedberg.
