This specimen was lot 30090 in Heritage sale 3040 (Chicago, April 2015), where it sold for $1,410. The catalog description[1] noted, "British Colony - Elizabeth II 5 Cents 1964-H MS63 NGC. An impressive example of this never-released date with flashy luster in the fields and perfectly executed strike detailing. Rarely offered and highly desirable thus." This type was struck at the Royal Mint 1958-1967 tho this date is listed as scarce. British coinage for Hong Kong ceased in 1997 when the island was returned to China. The bust of Queen Elizabeth II appears on the obverse.
