This specimen was lot 4236 in Goldberg sale 70 (Los Angeles, September 2012), where it sold for $57.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Hong Kong. 10 Cents, 1896. Victoria. NGC graded MS-63." This type was struck at the Royal Mint 1866-1901 and this date is listed as common in all grades. British coinage for Hong Kong ceased in 1997 when the island was returned to China.

Recorded mintage: 16,500,000.

Specification: 2.71 g, 0.800 fine silver, .069 troy oz ASW.
