This specimen was lot 75534 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2026), where it sold for $341.60. The catalog description[1] noted, "HONDURAS. Centavo, 1919. Tegucigalpa Mint. NGC MS-62 Brown." This type was struck 1919-20 and is not priced in this grade in the SCWC. It is the last centavo of the peso system. In 1931, Honduras abandoned the peso, closed her mint and introduced the lempira, minted under contract in Philadelphia.
