Hohenlohe in 1648, from Droysen's atlas

This specimen was lot 1292 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHLAND Hohenlohe, Grafschaft, Gemeinschaftliche Prägungen, 1594-1622. Taler 1610, Nürnberg. Mit Titel Rudolphs II. Sehr schön. Kleiner Schrötlingsfehler. (Germany, county of Hohenlohe, joint issue, 1594-1622, thaler of 1610, struck in the name of Rudolf II. Very Fine, Minor flan flaw.)"

This type is listed in the SCWC for 1600, 1603-10 and is scarce, verging on rare.
