Ernst Ludwig gold Proof 20 Mark 1903-A PR65 Cameo NGC, Berlin mint. With only 100 examples of this date struck in Proof, most collectors would be hard-pressed to find a gem example, but that is just what is seen in this enticing issue, replete with deep mirror surfaces and a clear cameo contrast. The first of this utterly scarce date that we have sold, and a rare opportunity. From the Caranett Collection." This type was issued 1896-1901 and 1903 and is scarce.
