This specimen was lot 4384 in Sincona sale 4 (Zürich, October 2011) where it sold for 110 CHF (about US$146 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Hannover, ab 1814 Königreich Ernst August, 1837-1851. Taler 1849. Sehr schön-gutes sehr schön. (kingdom of Hannover, Ernest Augustus, 1837-51, thaler of 1849, very fine to good very fine)."
This type is recorded for 1842-49 and is fairly scarce.
Recorded mintage: 357,000.
Specification: 16.82 g, .993 fine silver, .536 troy oz ASW, this specimen 22,15 g.
