This specimen was lot 73757 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $60. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Hamburg. Schilling, 1855. NGC MS-63. A sharply struck and attractive example of the type with flashy bright luster and a few hints of toning color." This one year type is common. Four dreiling made a schilling and sixteen schilling made a thaler.

Recorded mintage: 796,816 + 112,000 for 1855-A.
