This specimen was lot 4004 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €7,500 (about US$9,841 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HAMBURG, STADT, 2 Dukaten 1713, mit Titel Karls VI. GOLD. RR Vorzüglich. (city of Hamburg, double ducat of 1713, struck in the name of Charles VI. Very rare, extremely fine.)"
This rare type was struck 1713, 1717, 1725-40.
