This specimen was lot 71149 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $1,080. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Hall. 1/4 Ducat, 1714-N. NGC AU-58. Struck to commemorate the peace of Baden. A well struck and presentable coin with no noticeable marks." This was the only issue of this denomination fron this city in the 18th century. It accompanied a ducat (Fr-1078).
