The first specimen was lot 71149 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $1,080. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Hall. 1/4 Ducat, 1714-N. NGC AU-58. Struck to commemorate the peace of Baden. A well struck and presentable coin with no noticeable marks." This was the only issue of this denomination from this city in the 18th century. It accompanied a ducat (Fr-1078). The second specimen was lot 2932 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $115. The catalog description[2] noted, "HALL IN SWABIA: Free Imperial City, AR kreuzer, Nürnberg, 1714-N, Peace of Baden; pattern strike in silver for the gold 1/4 ducat, a lovely mint state example! PCGS graded MS63, ex Joe Sedillot Collection. The Treaty of Baden, signed September 7, 1714 in Baden, Switzerland, made peace between France and the Holy Roman Empire. Together with the Treaties of Utrecht and Rastatt, it was one in a series of agreements ending the 1701 to 1713 War of the Spanish Succession."
