This type was issued one year only, in recognition of the International Women's Year. This denomination, used only for commemoratives starting in 1967, seems to have been abandoned after this issue. The second specimen was part of lot 6701 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), which sold for $176.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "HAITI. Two Piece Proof Set, 1975. NGC PROOF-64 CAMEO & 68 ULTRA CAMEO. Struck for the International Women's Year with a silver 25 Gourde and a gold 200 Gourde bearing the same design. The gold piece graded higher with the silver showing a bit of light haze in the fields." The gold accompaniment (KM 125) is rather more available.

Recorded mintage: 7,180 plus 1,440 proofs.

Specification: 8.375 g, 0.9250 fine silver, 0.2491 oz ASW.

Catalog reference: KM 121.
