This specimen was lot 45040 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Costa Mesa, CA, August 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "HAITI. 5 Centimes, 1889. NGC MS-62. A boldly struck coin with flashy luster and a hint of toning. Ex. Rudman Collection." This one year type was the only regular issue for 1889. It is common in worn condition.

Recorded mintage: 1,000,000 plus proofs.
