This specimen was lot 3272 in Goldberg sale 87 (Los Angeles, September 2015), where it sold for $41.12. The catalog description[1] noted, "Guernsey. Double, 1830. National arms. NGC graded MS-63 Brown." This issue was struck for Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands. Eight doubles = one British penny.
Recorded mintage: 1,649,000 plus proofs.
