This specimen was part of lot 35319 in Heritage sale 3038 (Dallas, January 2015), which sold for $646.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles IV Lot of Nineteen Colonial 2 Reales, All KM51. Various dates and grades. Average grade is Fine. From The Santa Maria Collection." This type was struck 1791-1807 and is common, nearly as common as the similar two reales from Mexico City.
