This specimen was lot 781 in Schulman sale 347 (Amsterdam, April 2015), where it sold for €6,500 (about US$8,366 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"piedfort dukaton of zilveren rijder. 1682. Ruiter naar rechts CONCORDIA• RES• PARVÆ• - CRESCVNT •:•. Kz. gekroond provinciewapen met schildhouders, jaartal onder het wapen in cartouche. omschrift ❀ MO: NO: – ARG: – ORD: GRON: – ET• O – MLAN • •. RRR. Schitterend en uiterst zeldzaam stuk met een mooie patina. In het veld op de voorzijde enkele kleine gietgalletjes. Alleen vermeld in het supplement van Delmonte. Prachtig. uit veiling Schulman 9 van 9 nov. 1992, no. 464."
The regular ducaton, worth sixty stuivers, is listed for 1682-83 only. This is the only date known for the double ducaton, which is unlisted in the SCWC. Other silver coins included two, six, seven, ten, fourteen, twenty-eight and thirty stuiver pieces.
