This specimen was lot 34106 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), where it sold for $2,040. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Elizabeth II gold Proof 5 Pounds 1980 PR69 Deep Cameo PCGS." This type was struck 1980-84 for the bullion market. Later gold five pounds (such as KM 962) were struck as NCLT's.
