This specimen was lot 25137 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V bronze Proof Penny 1934, PR65 Brown NGC. An outstanding reddish-brown colored Gem with luxurious gloss to the surfaces and attractive mixed yellow and cornflower-blue iridescence throughout. A very usual date in Proof format." This type was issued in large numbers 1928-36 but the proofs are rare.
