This specimen was lot 4382 in Goldberg sale 75 (Los Angeles, September 2013), where it sold for $149.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Halfcrown, 1915. George V. Lustrous with a lovely pastel tone. NGC graded MS-65." The silver half crown (2½ shillings) was struck in this fineness until 1920, when it was debased to 0.500 fine.
Recorded mintage: 32,433,000.
Specification: 14.14 g, 0.925 fine silver, 32.3 mm diameter.
