This specimen was lot 72157 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it sold for $110. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, 1910. London Mint. PCGS MS-63 Gold Shield. A splendidly choice example, this piece displays a light gray brilliance with underlying radiance and an appealing golden tone near the peripheries. From the Regent Crest Collection." This type was struck 1902-10 in substantial numbers but nice specimens are scarce. This is a common date.
