This specimen was lot 34154 in Heritage sale 3082 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $1,020. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Edward VII Florin 1906 MS65 NGC. A scarcer date in impressive gem preservation, centers icy white with a fringe of golden brown patina. Ex. Heritage Auction #3026 (September 2013, Lot 25005)." This type was minted 1902-10 in large numbers but the beauty of the Art Nouveau reverse is best seen in high grade examples.

Recorded mintage: 6,910,000.

Specification: 11.31 g, 0.925 fine silver, 28.3 mm diameter.
