This specimen was lot 1553 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), where it sold for $252. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Silver Threepence, 1862. Victoria. Deeply toned uncirculated and scarce thus. Choice Uncirculated." This type was sturck 1838-87 for circulation and the Maundy sets.
Recorded mintage: 1,161,000 + 4,488 for the Maundy sets.
