This specimen was lot 34000 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), where it sold for $840. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: George III gold Guinea 1765 XF40 NGC. Moderately circulated, displaying sharp details and a trace amount of luster." This type is listed for 1765-73 and is the first guinea of George III not extremely rare.
