This specimen was lot 20275 in Ponterio sale 176 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $2,232. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. George II, 1727-1760. Guinea, 1733. Second young laureate bust left. Rv. Crowned quartered arms in ornate, garnished cartouche. Lustrous and sharp. NGC AU-55. Ex: Seaby, 1982." George II guineas come in numerous varieties and this type was issued 1732-38.
