This specimen was lot 73334 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $219.60. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Farthing, 1733. London Mint. George II. PCGS MS-62 Brown." This type was struck 1730-39 and is common in low grade. The production of copper coinage ceased in 1754, leaving the rapidly expanding economy short of small change, a void filled by thousands of types of tokens and counterfeits.
