This specimen was lot 1170 in Sincona sale 76 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 750 CHF (about US$910 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"GROSSBRITANNIEN, koenigreich. George I. 1714-1727. 1/2 Penny 1718, London. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. FDC. NGC MS63 BN. (kingdom of Great Britain, George I, 1714-27, half penny of 1718, London mint. Rare in this condition, Uncirculated.)"
The type is listed for 1717-19 and was the first half penny issued since 1701, none being minted during Anne's reign.
